This guide serves to help you to save money while getting geared up for Valencia content. This gear will help you to smoothly transition into more expensive gear. Note: This sections in this guide are ordered for fresh level 50s.
Scroll down to the bottom of the guide for the level 58 free gear. A good way to check your main quest line progression is to press O to bring up the quest window. You should to be doing them together, as they go through the same enemy areas.
They also both go together. Optional : At this point, you should be levelI suggest completing the Many a Pickle Makes a Mickle questline to earn a lot of black stone quest rewards and to gain some level exp before moving on to Mediah. You get Roaring Magical Sub-weapon for it. They give a respectable amount of AP and are dropped in Mediah grind spots. This is the first Asula you should be grinding for. Definitely get the necklace first to facilitate the grind here.
Each level you gain after level 50, all the way up to 56, you complete a level of Six Steps for Personal Growth. The quest NPC is always the blacksmith in Altinova. Make sure you have the armor in your inventory instead of wearing it when you turn it in. At level 56, you gain your Roaring Magical Armor.
Boots, Gloves, Helmet, and Main Hand Levels 53, 54, 54, 55 While grinding for Asulas, you can work on these as you fulfill the level requirements. Each of these serve to teach you some BDO lifeskill mechanics. Note: these questlines can only be done once per account. Five Rings of Illezra requires you to have completed the Mediah main quests, which you can find under the Main tab of the quest window.
Both of the bosses from the Illezra questline require special quest items to defeat. Brute forcing them without the quest items will lead you to fail. King of the Arena has a tough boss fight, try your best to get all the other gear before attempting this one. But cannot be freely exchanged for use of another class, unlike the Black Abyssal Weapon.
This is the least valuable free gear. So when you spend money to progress your gear further, make sure to upgrade your awakening weapon first.Hover over an item to view more info. I found the most density of Tree Spirits where on the hills. Right-click the item in your inventory to show his location on the map.
Once you reach level 13, make sure you go back to Western Guard Camp and pick up a quest from Jarette Domongatt inside the tents and complete it before moving on. This is a very important quest which will awaken your Black Spirt and enable you to Enhance items. These mobs are very easy to deal with. They are easy to aggro and easy to round up. Be careful of the Small Mine Imps because they have a ranged attack. There is also a Violent Imp Elite that has a ranged spell, inflicting a burning debuff on you.
It spawns at the bottom of the hill. The mob density at the top and bottom of the mine is good enough that you can keep doing continous large pull from top to bottom. This spot is perfect for earning a large amount of silver early on so consider staying for an extra level if you want to collect more silver. Be careful whilst hunting here because these mobs deal quite a lot of damage and might hurt a lot if you only have starter gear. This spot is good but quite out of the way and. Outside the castle and inside the castle you will find many camps filled with a mix of ranged and melee monsters as well.
Bronze Daggers are the best in slot daggers for Rangers so hang onto it if you get one.Die Quest für Level 50 - Black Desert Road to Highlevel #8
I personally recommend grinding inside the castle itself as the mob density is amazing and all the mobs are melee. All mobs in this spot also drop Heavy Armor Fragments, crystals and decent starter weapons. This will amount to a good sum of silver by the time you are finished here.
I recommend only moving here if the castle is too busy. The mobs drop really good items and you can even get Blackstones. All the monsters here are melee and the density is enough that you can keep pulling large packs around in a circle. There is a Violent Elite monster in the center of the island that drops blackstones so he is worth killing if you think you can take him in a fight. The Blood Monastery has a massive amount of mobs in the center courtyard.
Whilst these mobs are easy to deal with, you might find yourself quite overwhelmed if you are not careful. There is a Violent Elite monster in the courtyard but he is easily dealt with if you AOE him in your normal pulls. I recommend staying here until at least level 29 so you can go right to the Bandit Camp. You can move at level 28 if you wish to but really this spot is so good you can stay all the way up to 32 and go straight to khuruto caves. If the courtyard is busy when you get there move just outside the castle.
When I hunted here, I continuously pulled the camps up to the Bandit Treasure camp. Inside the castle is really good for experience. Mobs here are all melee except the Archer so make sure you pull the mobs over towards them and then on top of them to deal with Archers easier. This was my least favorite spot in the game and I would avoid it if possible and just go straight to khuruto caves or biraghi den instead.
If you do decide to hunt here make sure to AOE camp to camp.
You can pull massive amounts of Harpies out of the air using your Chain Lightning abilities. However, classes with a lack of ranged skills will not be able to take full advantage of this place because they can only easily pull half of the amount. The Harpies move very fast and the Mages also hit quite hard.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.

The game is very dense with so many tiny but essential aspects that you must first familiarize with to enjoy. Leveling is one of the most important aspects that you must learn when mastering the game.
It can be done using two methods; either by questing or grinding. Levels become more complex as you progress.
It is easy to get to level 56 as compared to getting to level In this Black Desert Online Leveling Guidewe are going to delve into some of the leveling tips and recommendations for the same.
Every BDO expert will tell you that grinding is the fastest way to get your characters to level The key target of any BDO player is to level as fast as possible and get to the awakening stage. However, the negative side of grinding is that you might miss some contribution points, energy points, spirit and bag space that is essential later in the game. Nonetheless, you can compensate for this if you go back, repeat the quests and get the missed objects.
To avoid going back, you can buy a cheap starter horse or wagons which are more effective in grinding. They provide adequate storage space and you can loot on them. As much as grinding may seem straightforward, there are several tips that you should learn about leveling to do it effectively. Some of the tips are listed below :.
The Black Spirit questline may take you to the best leveling spots as well. Questing is vital. It will come in handy; providing energy points, contribution points, garnering experience and getting adequate space for inventory.
Most people will agree that it is not the fastest means in leveling but I would recommend you to follow the questline for your first character. Rewards from Black Spirit quests include XP, gear, potions, contribution points, and inventory space. Can I skip it? I can skip this, right? Truth be told, there is an enormous range of quests available in the game, and many of your senior adventurers have had the same questions.
Well, then how should we go about it? It may look a little complicated and somewhat daunting at first glance. As you can probably tell from the name, the Preferred Type option is a function that allows you to only accept what you want from NPCs. In other words, you have only been completing Combat or Other types of quests until now.
There were even more quests? Now we recommend that you change the Preferred Type to All. Because there are so many quests in Black Desert, it is more advantageous if you can choose the ones that you want to do.
If you have it set to all, then the NPCs will give you all the quests that you have fulfilled the requirements for. If you like the quest, you can accept it. You make the choice. Quests from the Black Spirit are mostly main quests, so they are definitely worth doing. Although the Black Spirit can get a little annoying sometimes, it only means the best for you. However, one thing to note is that the Black Spirit gives quests that are more suited to the adventurers that specialize in combat.
Players should have no problem adapting to and playing the game by mainly following the quests from the Black Spirit while carrying out a few other common quests here and there. To summarize, it is definitely worth your while to do the quests from the Black Spirit. You will get to know more in detail as time passes, but the essential Black Spirit quests after Lv.
Quest Requirements: Above Lv. It is recommended that you also carry out the [Subjugation] quests from the NPCs located within the Monster Zone or by the Node Manager as you carry out the above two quests.
This is an exceptional quest where you can acquire an enormous amount of Black Stones. You can only accept it after completing the World of Enemies and For a Sharper Weapon quest series mentioned above. This is the start of the main quest of Mediah, so make sure to take note if you plan to head over there soon. There are many monsters out on the Monster Zones. As you will require more EXP from Lv. Which is why just defeating one monster after another endlessly can get a little idle.
Take a look around the nearest town or node. You should find an abundance of available quests for that respective Monster Zone. The Contribution Points and other rewards you earn from them will build up and be a great asset in the future. If you go deep into the center of the Monster Zone, you will be able to receive an interesting quest from specific NPCs.
The Monster Zones of Calpheon all have an NPC that gives Subjugation quests which are highly recommended to be completed with the other quests. It is similar in Mediah and Valencia as well, and you will certainly find yourself enjoying the game more if you carry out these quests. Lastly, it can be a new and enjoyable experience to talk and listen to quest NPCs and learn what the quest is about.
When you talk to all the NPCs and check the diverse range of quests, you might find one that fits your current situation. Make sure you accept that quest and complete it together with your other quests. They will all help you in the end.
Why are we showing favor to the adventurers focused on combat?Black Desert allows you to define preferences for what quest types you like and per default! To ensure especially in the beginning that you see all quests and do not lose out on rather essential quests which offer an increase of your inventory space, open the quest menu by hitting [O]. Then make sure "all" is selected.
If you deselect certain quest types they will not even be shown to you even if you speak to the NPC! Some quests can require you to choose which path to go. For example the Black Spirit will ask you sometimes to act against a citizens interest and not fulfill their task as intended. A blue framed icon indicates the quest has been accepted but not completed yet. A green framed icon with a red check mark over indicates the quest objective has been fullfilled and the NPC will now provide the reward.
Some quests have multiple objectives and as you complete individual aspects, you will be notified via text in the middle of your screen. The quest marker on the map will be updated accordingly. Once you reach level 50, the Black Spirit will start giving you daily and weekly quests, that start rewarding boss scrolls. To get these quests you have to make sure you have all of the important Black Spirit quest line series done. The type of daily and weekly boss scrolls quests you receive will depend on which region you are in currently: Balenos, Calpheon, Serendia, Mediah, Valencia.
To obtain these quests for a specific region, just simply move into the appropriate region and you will be notified by your Black Spirit in the status menu on the bottom right.

In this BDO sailing guide, I will explain how to get your first ship, how shipbuilding changed, how the new barter system works, sailors and the new sailing skill, and more.
Before you start sailing you need something to sail. In the old days, we only had rafts, rowboats and fishing boats. And while those boats are still slightly useful, the first ship you should now get is the Bartali Sailboat.
Try it and see how you like it. Controlling your ship is pretty straightforward. You steer it with the WSAD buttons or with your mouse like normally.
The only thing you need to keep in mind is whether your sails are folded or not. If you are sailing against the wind you want to have your sails folded, but when you have the wind in the back you want to have your sails unfolded. On the ship info screen, you get all the information you need to see how your ship is doing.
To access the screen you can either use the F5 button or the R button depending on where you are standing on your ship. You can also equip ship gear on this screen. There are five types of ship gear with two tiers, green and blue. As usual, the blue grade is more expensive but gives somewhat better stats.
There are also two versions of each blue grade gear and then there is separate gear for sailboats and frigates. To get your hands on blue grade gear you will either need to make it yourself or buy it from the central market. To craft blue ship gear you need to have a level 4 ship gear workshop. There is one like that in Port Epheria. Finally, you can see the extra abilities you get with your ship once your sailing skill reaches a certain point.
Once you have a certificate you need to find and talk to a sailor looking for a job and hire them through the chat interface. To find the location of sailors looking for a job you can talk to Philaberto, Croix or Islin and ask them about hiring sailors. Sailors looking for a job have a tag above their head which tells you what type of sailor he is. The table below has all the starting stats on each type of sailor you can get so you should refer to it when you are getting yourself a new sailor.
Now as your sailors gain experience these stats will also improve to some extent. Which type of sailor is best depends entirely on what you intend to do with your ship.
Sub-Character Tagged With Archer (Cant Complete level 50 Quest)
If you are going to use it for trading and bartering then sailors with speed boosts and low weight are best, such as innocent and ambitious types, while if you intend to use your ship for combat situations of some sort then sailors which give your ship better turn, break and acceleration become more important.
In the image above you can see the sailor interface. Weight is also important as this number is redacted from the total carrying capacity of your ship. So having a heavy crewmember reduces the weight of goods you can carry without slowing down.
The later four abilities are only gained when the sailor reaches level
